All I want is the referral the doctor promised would come within 24 hours. So sorry I went there in the first place even though I like the doctor. Meanwhile I am in pain.
The last time I went to Kalihi Palama I was told I need a referral to a neurologist and that one would call me to set up an appointment on Tuesday (the next day). On Wednesday no one has called me so I call the office staff back. They haven't even submitted my paperwork for a referral yet and tell me they are too busy! I am in PAIN! I think they are just busy gossiping. I have called every two days and now it is 8 days later and they are annoyed that I call to ask about the referral and are now blaming the insurance agency for being slow (I think they still haven't submitted any paperwork yet). The last time I called they recognized me, put me on hold and then disconnected me.
I actually like thiss doctor. He is unusual but seems to really know what he is doing. I would go back to him but is office staff in impossible. That is the only reason I gave a one star review.
The first time I visited I was waiting after my appointment for a print out. I waited twenty minutes while one of the office staff was gossiping around the corner. There was not reason for me to wait other than she could be bothered to reach around the corner and hand me what had already come out of the printer! Something similar happened the next time I was there too. The staff that I have interacted with are extremely unprofessional!
