The dinner rolls were a bit stale. Easily fixed I'm sure.
pretty delicious fare, and a very nice view.
Can't thank them enough for making our 15th anniversary dinner so special and unforgettable! I let them know the occasion in advance, and they went above and beyond to make our night extra special. Everyone knew our names and wished us a happy 15th. They set aside the best table, with flowers and candles, and a special dessert. Oh, and the food was delicious. Expensive, of course, but it was worth it. I had the seared, crusted ahi, and loved loved loved it. She had the snapper special, and it was great, too. Our soups were also delicious, hers the tomato, nice and spicy, and mine a delightful melon basil gazpacho. Yum! Many thanks to the whole staff for a wonderful memory!
Food is EXCELLENT!! We shared this Rock Salt appetizer and Poke that was prepared table side, OMG! Delicious! Staff were extremely attentive and we had a million dollar view! I'm serious, everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff and even the bartender, (our bartender was Allison and she makes the best Cosmos) these folks were terrific. We saw the most incredible sunset while listening to live music. How does it get any better than this!!!
I would go back and try something different, if Roy's nearby was closed. Food is exquisite and the price is less pretentious.
Waitress interrupted my main course to tell me to put my the order for the Chocolate Soufflé as it took 20min. Reasonable request, just poor timing and I did not want dessert. She should have asked if we wanted desert later on in the meal. My husband had to ask her to come back later.
Dishes needed more flavor. Spices and depth rather than salt and fire/searing. I augmented my fish fish with hot sauce.
NOT BAD FOOD served by NICE staff but could be better. Good strong drinks. Price is too high for quality of food. Nice view of the Ocean at all tables. Romantic place for a night out however, I feel it could be better. The price was excessive and I say that with experience after eating at places such as Wolfgang's, Las Vegas, Paris.
Nice food with a view. Ask for a window table and enjoy the sunset. Go for the full menu with the wine selection but ask to change the eiswein to riesling ;)
I had the fish special which included a broth with lobster meat and seared scallops. It cost $52. The scallops were far too seared and was crunchy on the outside. One piece of scallop was only a half/broken off, not whole which made for poor presentation. Price should have been $40 or so.
Instead of a negative view of my experience, I offer some constructive criticism for improvement.
