I took the #55 bus and got off at The Turtle Bay Resort on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. I had a delicious lunch at the scenic Poolside Bar where I had their classic Lava Flow drink and the Longboard Lager Fish & Chips. It was pricey, but what do you expect for a 4 star resort. It was worth it. Mahalo!
Total joke from beginning to end. Server wanted nothing more than to be anywhere than at work. The table was so wobbly you couldn't rest a drink on it. No one tried to fix or move us. I had to level the table myself. Overly priced for what you get even for a hotel. Chicken fingers and fries were what you expected, the fries were the worst. I had the protein bowl. The menu description sounded tasty. The problem it was no more than 6oz, $17USD and served in a plastic take out container. Never had a quality check or refills on drinks.
Just spent a week at turtle bay and this bar has a beautiful view of the sunset! We made sure to sit at the bar with Dennis the bartender. He was amazing and had genuine conversations with us the whole week! Sit with him next time you visit the point! Dennis rules! Eddie is fantastic as well.
The food was pretty good here. It was a pretty fast turn around time.
