This is such an amazing place for a party! We celebrated our daughter's 4th birthday here and everyone had the best time. The staff was very helpful and the girls leading the pony rides were great with the kids. There is also a large shaded pavilion and large grassy area with a playground that the kids loved. Definitely a 5-Star experience!
My husband and I just enjoyed a great 1-hour trail ride with Emma! There were lots of great views and photo opportunities, and Emma ensured that we had a safe and enjoyable trip despite it being our first time on a horse. I definitely recommend giving Gunstock Ranch a visit, and I know that we will be back!
It was definitely worth the money and made for one of our most pleasant memories of our visit to Oahu!
I've done a fair amount of horseback riding while traveling, and this was definitely one of the best experiences that I've had. It was great to have the option of going on a more advanced ride at faster gaits, and, having done similar rides elsewhere, I really appreciated the very small group size. Our guide, Leanna, was very personable, friendly, and consistently checking in with and chatting with us on the ride. The ranch itself is very authentic and on an incredible and rustic property, which made the ride really beautiful. I would absolutely recommend a visit to Gunstock Ranch to anyone considering it!
Our guide was a friendly young woman that engaged us in conversation throughout the ride. The path doesn't even feel like a path sometimes, more like you're adventuring through Hawaiian wildness on horseback.
My wife and I went for the sunset horseback ride. It was wonderful. The horses were great and well-trained. There were wild animals throughout the ride, calf, chickens, cows and more. The guide said you see a lot of wild boar up there as well.
We went on the mid afternoon ride with Emma and Leanna and had a great time! The views are breathtaking, and the horses were well trained and majestic. Winston was full of character, and Joy was very sweet. The guides made sure we all had a great experience!
