We went there after hearing so many good reviews.. The ford was decent and not fully to my expectations. Maybe we were expecting too much. The wait time was long around 25 minutes when there were 3 other parties. The shrimp was good but it came with the outer shell which I hate. And taking the shell out took most of the flavor away. Next time i will remember to ask to take the shell out.
There was a 15 minute wait just to place our order. After another 5 minute wait a large group from a tour bus came through and was immediately served in succession. We weren't given an explanation until we asked. Apparently they phone ordered ahead which made it slightly more understandable. Our food finally came out in takeout containers(we ordered for here) and on opening them found they replaced what was supposed to be a macaroni side and a rice side with 2 rice sides without asking us..guess the large group depleted the macaroni.
As for the food, it was good but nothing to go out of the way for. We tried the garlic shrimp, hot shrimp, and garlic squid.
We enjoy coming here but today was not a good visit
Today wasn't a good visit. Waited 42 minutes for 2 garlic shrimp plates. 2 Korean tour vans were served upon arrival because they called in their orders. Customers that were waiting were served after the tour orders were filled. Korean tour companies call in order to owner who takes all orders at the window. Garlic shrimp didn't taste as delicious as previous visits.
Service really bad. No customers there but still had to wait over 15 minutes along with a bunch of school kids for someone to come to the counter to take out order. Just when counterperson came to take order two tour busses pulled in and the kids there were told they had to wait to order because the busses were very important. The kids ahead of us stated they only wanted to get soda. Didn't matter because the make more money off the tour busses. Such bad customer service! How much time would it have taken to take those kids order anyway?! So many great shrimp trucks around. Will never go there again.
Gets crowded now because it seems they have a contract with Korean tour companies
