Took a drive around the island and stopped here for shrimp, sort of spontaneous. I ordered garlic butter and spicy garlic butter and they're both really delicious! They do take time to make the shrimp and it's usually alright with me as long as it's worth the wait. The shrimp is well-marinated with the sauce. And each plate comes with veggie and a piece of pineapple. Each plate costs about 14 bucks. The quantity is only okay. They give you way too much rice for the amount of shrimp. Could use a couple of more pieces.
Our local guide suggested Giovanni’s over Fumi’s we stopped at Giovanni on our trip around the island and had $14 cash didn’t have enough cash for both husband and wife so we settled for the amazing BBQ corn next door. We were determine to get some Hawaiian Shrimp so we pressed onto Fumi’s our next stop to our surprise they had a ATM on site and so my wife got the Garlic and I got the Coconut & Salt n Pepper dish! Got to nearest beach and enjoyed Hawaii’s greatest Shrimp for lunch. Fumi’s delivered amazing food each plate comes with rice, salad, & a slice of pineapple. Giving it 5 stars for taste, service and convenience of ATM machine. Definitely worth the drive and we will be returning for more goodness. Aloha and Enjoy!
I visited Fumi's while on the Aloha Circle Island Tour and the food was great! I had the coconut shrimp and loved it! It came with rice and a salad as well. They also have the Dole ice cream which was a great addition.
The garlic shrimp tasted fantastic and the serving sizes are generous and good value for money. If you're taking the trip north from Waikiki definitely worth stopping in for lunch. It may not be worth a one off trip just for it but if you're in the area for it a try and maybe grab an ice cream for desert afterwards.
Stopped here on a day tour. Shrimp was great. Recommend hot and spicy if you love spicy food. Spicy garlic is my next favorite. Just wish they give a little bit more shrimp. Portion sizes are quite fair otherwise
